Spicy grilled chicken breast


 

Ingredients for:4

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Waiting time: 2 hours

Cooking time: 15-20 minutes

 

Ingredients:

-          4 chicken fillets (breast)

-          2 chili peppers sliced

-          1 orange (zest)

-          1 table spoon sweet paprika

-          1 table spoon Dijon mustard

-          4 table spoons honey

-          3 table spoons ketchup

-          ½ cup oil

-          Salt, pepper

-           

Execution

Mix in a big bowl all the ingredients, adding the oil, salt and pepper in the end. Add the chicken breasts in the bowl and we let them marinate for 2 hours. Next, we grill them for 7-10 minutes sideways. Serve accompanied with green salad.

 


 

Pork with beans

 

Ingredients for: 4

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Waiting time: 8 hours

Cooking time: 1 hour, 10minutes

 

Ingredients:

-          250 gr. Beans, soaked from the night before

-          500 gr. Pork meat (shoulder), cut in large cubes

-          4 peeled potatoes cut in large cubes

-          1 cup of frozen peas

-          2 slices of bacon, chopped

-          ½ cup of celery, chopped

-          2 carrots, cut into rings

-          2 table spoons olive oil

-          Salt, pepper

 

Execution

Pour the olive oil in a pot and once it is hot enough, sauté the bacon and the meat for 5 minutes and stir often. Add the celery and the carrots and continue sautéing for another 4 minutes. Add 4 cups of water and the beans, add salt and pepper and let it boil slowly for half an hour. Next, we add the potatoes and the peas. Cover the pot and boil slowly for 40 more minutes.


 

Lamb chops with sundried tomato

Ingredients for: 4

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Waiting time: 12 hours

Cooking time: 20 minutes

 

 

Ingredients:

-          1 kg lamb chops

-          Salt, pepper

For the marinade:

-          2 table spoons olive oil

-          1 orange (zest)

-          1 tea spoon thyme

-          1 tea spoon coriander seeds

-          ¼ tea spoon cinnamon powder

-          6 sundried tomatoes

 

Execution

Pour all the ingredients for the marinade in the blender and slightly mix them. Arrange the chops in a Pyrex and cover with the marinade. Cover the Pyrex with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for 12 hours. Grill the chops in the barbeque, while brushing them with the marinade. Add salt and pepper right before the end. Serve the chops accompanied with grilled pies, roasted eggplants with cool tzatziki and rocket leaves.
